It’s been another fun-filled week in year 3/4. Here are some of the things that we have been learning and that have been keeping us busy this week…

Active Minutes

This week saw us launch our active minutes initiative again. The World Health Organisation recommends 60 minutes of activity or exercise each day so we try to fit in extra activities to keep us active during the school day. This can include things like dancing to go-noodle, running round the track, doing some Joe Wicks exercises or following along with the BBC super movers. English

In English, we have been planning and writing non-chronological reports on Viking longboats. We carried our research and used this knowledge to make our reports interesting.

Maths

This week, we have continued to explore place value and were working with numbers up to 10,000. We used the base 10 to help us represent our numbers as well as number-lines to help us order and sequence our numbers.
