Term 1 – Week 3

We’ve had a special visitor this week!

For part of our enquiry this week, we travelled back in time to visit ‘Jed’. He taught us lots about the Tudors and we enjoyed being interactive with our learning.

In our enquiry lessons, we learnt all about The Battle of Bosworth and found some interesting information about Henry VI and Richard III.

As writers we have described our main character from our book. We used expanded noun phrases with powerful vocabulary to help bring out descriptions to life.

As mathematicians we continued with our place value knowledge. We learnt how to partition numbers up to 1000 in a variety ways.

As linguists, we learnt to to say some french greetings and even sang a song about it. We will continue this learning next week.

In PE we have continued our learning on passing in Tag Rugby. We worked in teams and thought about our ‘channels’.
