Term 1 Week 5

This week we had a fantastic trip to Weston Museum! The children took part in a hands-on workshop where they learned how to play Anglo-Saxon board games and even wrote their names using Elder Futhark runes. We explored fascinating artifacts and discovered more about life during Anglo-Saxon and Viking times. One of the highlights was dressing up as Vikings and Anglo Saxons, which brought history to life in a fun and memorable way. The children also enjoyed exploring the museum’s exhibits and had a wonderful time throughout the day.
