Term 1 Week 5

We’ve had a great week in Year 3/4.  The children have enjoyed getting a little deeper into their subjects and challenging themselves now that they are more settled in their learning.

As historians, we explored the role of Henry VIII in the split with Rome and the establishing of the Church of England.  What a fascinating and significant story! The children loved learning about what Henry did for love and power.

As artist, the children learned about the sculptor Alberto Giacometti. They recorded information about his life and art and created a fact file in their art books.
