Term 1 – Week 7

Its been another busy and productive week with lots of fabulous work completed!

As writers, we wrote our adventure stories inspired by Beowulf. We focused on our descriptive writing and sentence structure and the results were spectacularly imaginative!

As artists, we explored texture and pattern creating fantastic collages. We also looked at the colour wheel thinking about the relationship between primary, secondary and tertiary colours.

As mathematicians, year 4’s used column addition to solve a variety of word problems and reasoning challenges while year 3’s explored adding and subtracting 1, 10 and 100.
