Term 2 Week 2
What a fantastic week in Year 3 and 4!
As scientists, we explored the concept of friction by testing different surfaces using ramps and toy cars. We made predictions, carried out experiments, and drew conclusions from our findings.

As mathematicians, we continued investigating area, comparing different shapes and creating our own using reasoning and problem-solving criteria. This was very engaging!

As writers, we began researching Viking gods to prepare for next week’s non-chronological reports. We also examined an example report and identified the key features we’ll include in our own writing.

In addition this week, we have been learning about the importance of kindness as part of Anti-Bullying Week. Our activities included a special assembly, thoughtful class discussions, and opportunities to share how we can show kindness every day. The children reflected on what kindness means to them and how they can help make the world a kinder place.
