What a fantastic week!

As athletes this week we have started a new topic, DANCE! We have enjoyed experimenting with different shapes, moves and poses.

As citizens we explored how making a judgment on a person can be incorrect and harmful, but also how we can have different opinions and thoughts to other people. We also took time to think about what we like about ourselves.

In maths this week the year 4’s explored ‘Area’ using squares.

As scientists we compared and investigated how a toy car moved on different surfaces. First, we made predictions before testing and measuring. We recorded our results in a table and used our knowledge of friction to conclude and explain our ideas.

To finish off, the year 3 and year 4 girls got to take part in an extra football session on Friday afternoon where they had fun being coached and shown some useful footballing skills!
