Term 2 Week 3
What have we done in year 3/4 this week?
As historians, we looked at the chronology of the monarchs for the Tudor Period. We were intrigued to find out that Lady Jane Grey was Queen but for only 9 days.
In our english lessons, we have formed our opinion on a decision that happened in our book. We then used our opinions in a debate. These ides are going to help us to write a persuasive speech next week and perform them to our class.
In our lessons we practiced our oracy skills and used our talk tactics, sentence stems and conscious circle to improve our oracy skills.
As athletes, we have continued with our netball skills. We have introduced opposition and this week we have improved our skills and team work.
Our Talk Tuesday Question for Next week …
As a school, we have a question a week to discuss to help improve our Oracy skills on a Tuesday. We are going to start sharing these on our Class Pages so that these discussions can continue at home. Some of our questions are linked to themes or current news. Next week we will reflect on Children In Need with our Talk Tuesday Question.
