Term 2 – Week 7
It’s our final week!
To end our term we had our Christmas Party, we enjoyed playing games, having a boogie and ending our afternoon off with some delicious food. Thank you to the PTFA for sorting out the food. Thank you also for all the gifts, cards and good wishes you have given us this week. These are much appreciated and very thoughtful!
Thank you to everyone who came to see our class learning on Monday, it was lovely to see so many of you!
As part of anti-bullying week this year we took part in another workshop all about kindness. We learnt about different values and made something to give to a friend, family member or teacher.
We enjoyed recapping all of our knowledge from our history enquiry, ‘What happened when the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings came to Britain?’ It was amazing to see how much we have learnt over the last few months.
As artists this week, we created a whole class piece of artwork inspired by Henry Matisse. We enjoyed looking at complimentary colours and painting a ‘tile’ to add to our painting.
Où est Madame Hodder? As linguists we had an amazing time finding Mrs Hodder in the house to help us recap our knowledge of rooms in French.
