Term 3 Week 1

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas break and enjoyed time with family and friends. It’s been fantastic to see everyone return ready for a great start to the new term!

As writers, we have begun exploring our new book, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. We’ve been thinking carefully about Edward’s character and personality, sharing ideas and discussing what makes him unique.

As mathematicians, we’ve been revising different methods of division, building confidence and accuracy in our calculations.

As computer scientists, we’ve started to explore programming, learning how to create and test simple programs while developing our problem-solving skills.

As geographers, we have begun our new enquiry: Where is our place in Europe? We’ve been studying maps to identify which county and region we are in within the UK, and thinking about how this connects to the wider world.

We’re excited for all the learning and adventures this term will bring!
