Term 3 Week 1

Happy New Year!

We are very excited to start a new term and show you all of our learning!
This term, we start a new enquiry called ‘Why did the Europeans explore?’ Where we will investigate lots of different european explorers.
As designers we designed and made a Tudor Rose from our last enquiry from air dried clay.

We have been so impressed with the quality of our roses! We cannot wait to bring them home to show you!

As writers we have started looking at a new book called ‘Varjak Paw’. We are excited to start creating some writing inspired by this.

As mathematicians, we have continued our learning about division and multiplication. We showed our learning  in a variety of ways.

In PE we have continued our ball skills, looking at throwing and catching whilst moving also.

In science, we have started learning about our new topic ‘rocks and soil’. We started off with learning about the different layers of the earth.
