Term 3 Week 6
It’s the last week of Term 3!
We have had a fantastic end to term 3.
As mathematicians, we have continued learning how to times a 1 digit number by a two digit number. We have used a variety of resources and we even found some time to play a game of snakes and ladders using our multiplication knowledge.
As scientists, we have explored volcanoes and geysers and understood how they are created. We have come to the end of our rock and soil topic so created a poster showing everything we have learnt.
As writers, we have written, edited and published our biographies all about Christopher Columbus. We have been extremely impressed with the effort and knowledge the children have included in these.
It was internet safety day on Tuesday. As a year group we learnt about what scams online are and how to spot them. We also discussed how we can keep ourselves safe online.
As historians and artist, we have learnt about Hernan Cortez and his connection to aztec art. We created our own art work inspired by an aztec sun stone.
