Term 4 Week 6
What a fantastic term!
In our final week of the spring term, we have done lots of learning and rounding off in our subjects.
As historians and geographers, we have prepared our presentation of learning for families to watch. We retrieved all of our knowledge and learning from the past 2 terms and found a way to show it all. We hope you enjoyed finding out about different explorers and the Age of Exploration.
As scientists, we retrieved our knowledge of materials and their properties and created a poster to show our learning.
As writers, we have had the opportunity to write some poetry. We wrote a poem to our ancestor describing our lives today. We wrote, edited, published and decorated our poems.
In our maths lessons, we have continued to learn about equivalent measurements and we have added lengths together.
As citizens, we have looked at what food are healthy and good for us and which should be avoided or eaten in moderation. We also discussed different medicines and ‘drugs’ which are used to make us healthy. Finally we talked about keeping safe and what services there are to make us safe and how to contact them.
Chandra Class even enjoyed the weather by enjoying a story outside.
