Term 5 – Week 4
Another amazing week!
Congratulations to all of our bike-ability year 4s for completing their course this week.
As writers we have learnt how to be persuasive and wrote a letter to the Green Party Leader all about habitat loss and destructions. We started by identifying features of a persuasive letter then wrote our own.
As mathematicians we continued our learning all about statistics and next week we will be starting a new topic all about shape.
As linguists we listened to the story of little red riding hood again, looked at the language used and noticed any familiar words. We then sequenced the French story to help our understanding.
In PE we are really taking advantage of the weather by completing another game of rounders. We are now playing a full game and following all of the rules. We will be working on getting rid of the tennis racket soon and only using a proper rounders bat.
As citizens, we were discussing getting on and falling out. First, we shared our thoughts on what a friend is. Then, we looked at some techniques which we could use to help us tackle and resolve issues when we fall out with each other. We looked at different scenarios and considered how the two techniques could help us…
