Term 5 – Week 5

It’s been another great week in Year 3/4 and we have all been enjoying the lovely weather!

In English we wrote a descriptive passage inspired by the book ‘What did the Tree See?’ and thought about all the incredible things an old tree could have witnessed over its lifetime. We also spent some time outside thinking about how our senses can be used to improve our story telling.

In maths we worked on different investigations including identifying the sequences and patterns created by the digital routes of our times tables. We also investigated how many different ways you can make 25 using three odd numbers.

In art the children drew rainforest pictures using the work of Henri Rousseau as an inspiration and in ICT the children created their own branching databases.

Have a great weekend!
