Term 6 Week 1

Welcome back to our final term!

Key dates:

Year 4 camp: Wednesday 2nd – Thursday 3rd July

Sports Day: Thursday 26th June

As citizens, we have learnt about common ground and finding common interests with our class mates. We read the book Aalfred and Aalbert then made a poster to celebrate this.

In science we have continued our knowledge and learnt about the water cycle this week.

As writers we have started reading a new book called ‘Rain Player’ all about the Mayan civilisation that we will be learning about this term. We researched some of the new vocabulary we came across in the book.

As mathematicians, Year 3 have learnt how to add fractions before moving onto subtracting fractions.
