As mathematicians year 3 have been learning about measure, specifically mass. We used weights to find the mass of objects and answered lots of exciting questions about them.

As citizens we learnt about genetics and where we get our characteristics from. We found out that if you can make a tube with your tongue that is because one of your parents can do it.

As writers we have had the opportunity to write a newspaper report inspired by our new book flotsam. A child found a camera washed up on a local beach and we reported the news.
