Term 5 – Week 6
Our final week of term 5!
For our final week of being writers for our class book ‘this morning I met a whale’ we wrote our own stories inspired by the book. We made sure to include an important message about saving the environment or the animals habitat. We have loved reading the and sharing them as a class.
As citizens we learnt all about friendships and how they can change overtime. We understood how we can resolve any issues that might come up.
The theme for our work as citizens this term has been relationships. We finished our work by creating a collage as a class. Each of us created our square to create our finished piece which celebrates our relationships with our special person or pet.
To end our enquiry ‘UK vs Spain’ we compared the two places, looking at monarchy, climate, rivers and location. After this we recapped and revised our learning to see how much we can remember about this enquiry.
This week we are also finishing our science topic all about the human body. To remind ourselves of all of our learning we created a double page poster. We look forward to learning all about electricity next term.
As artists we are going to be learning about 3D art, so to start off this topic we have been researching the artist Alberto Giacometti. We put together a fact file to show what we found.
