Week beginning 14th February

Well, what a strange end to term 3. Thank you to all the children who joined us for our online learning sessions this morning. Thanks also to the parents who were no doubt sorting out technical issues etc. in the background. We teachers must admit, that we had forgotten about all of the pitfalls of online learning but we all got there in the end. We hope you enjoy the lesson on portraits this afternoon. Please bring your portraits in to show your class teachers and friends after the holidays.

Have a lovely break and come back refreshed for Term 4 when we will be learning about the digestive system as part of our enquiry, How is my body amazing?

In English, we have been thinking about how to use speech punctuation in our story writing. We imagined what the characters Hortense and the bandits, (from our class book, ‘Hortense and the Shadow’) would say to each other. We acted out their conversations and then carefully wrote these up into our English books.
