Week beginning 20th September

We are now back into the swing of things and working hard.

In English, we have been listening to the story, ‘The Queen’s Token’. This story is about a young boy called Hal, who lived in Tudor Times. We have enjoyed reading about the adventures he experiences whilst riding his horse in the New Forest. We have been learning about how to use speech marks and writing in role as the main character Hal.

Whilst in science, we are learning about light. We began by sorting objects into whether it was a light source or not. Next we used feely boxes to try and identify objects without looking at them.

This term, in R.E. we are currently finding out more about the Hindu religion. Mrs Owen has been working with us to find out more about Hindu deities and we have been discovering where and how Hindus worship.

In P.E. we have been learning how to play tag rugby. We have been passing the ball and learning how to score a try.
