Week beginning 28th June

In science this week we have continued to find out more about vertebrates and invertebrates. We discovered more about a group of invertebrates  called annelids. These include creatures such as earthworms and leeches which, have no legs or hard skeleton. Their bodies are divided into many segments.

Our project work continued with us learning about Mayan gods and goddesses. The Maya believed that their gods ruled their lives and decisions. They had gods for the sun, rain, maize and fire. We then had great fun creating our own Mayan gods and goddesses some of which were very gruesome.
