Week beginning 2nd May
It has been another bust week for the children of Year 3 and 4. A number of children completed their ‘Bikability’ course, while others travelled to Birmingham to take part in the Young Voices event at the NEC. A massive well done to all of them!
In maths this week the children have started to look at money and have been exploring different ways of making an amount using a variety of different notes and coins, as well as comparing and ordering amounts. In English we have been writing in role as the whale form our class book, ‘This Morning I Met a Whale’. We have been looking at the difference between Great Britain, the United Kingdom and the British Isles in Geography while in R.E the children have been learning about Ramadan and Eid.
There has been much more besides and we hope everyone has a well deserved, enjoyable and restful weekend.
