Week beginning 5th December

The run up to Christmas has been a little hectic but Year 3 and 4 are still working hard.

Thank you to all of the parents, who were able to come, to our Open Afternoon on Tuesday. It was wonderful to see so many parents, grandparents and carers having the opportunity to celebrate their children’s hard work. We know that the children thoroughly enjoyed sharing their books.

This week we have been working on publishing our reports about Elizabeth the First. During our research we have discovered some remarkable facts. Did you know that when she became cross with her courtiers and advisors she would throw her shoes at them? She could speak 11 languages including Latin, French, Hebrew and Welsh. Elizabeth also had a very sweet tooth and this led her to have seriously black teeth- yuck!

Year 3 and 4 art club has now finished. The children have created some beautiful wintery pictures, which I’m sure you will agree, look extremely effective.
