Week beginning 6th June 2022
Welcome back! We hope you all had a lovely break and are ready for what will be a very busy and exciting final term. We have certainly hit the ground running this week.
In science we have continued learning about electricity and investigated which materials are conductors and which were insulators using an electrical circuit. We concluded that a conductor is a material that is made of metal and allows the flow of electrons to continue throughout the circuit. An insulator on the other hand is a material that does not allow the electrical current to pass through.
In geography we researched different physical and human landmarks in the United Kingdom while in maths we moved onto geometry and have been learning about angles as well as horizontal, vertical, parallel and perpendicular lines. In P.E we have enjoyed some different activities including cricket and tennis with the children playing ‘XBox’, ‘Must come home’ and ‘Dragons’ Eggs’ to improve their skills.
As ever there has been much more besides and we look forward to another busy and productive week.
Have a great weekend!
