Week beginning 23rd May 2022
We’ve had a fantastic final week of term celebrating Uphill School’s 150th Anniversary. On Monday we were visited by Mr Stevenson, head teacher from 1990 to 2000, who talked about what school life was like back in the 90’s and reflected on some of the changes the school has gone though since. On Thursday we visited the Victory Hall to see the exhibition celebrating Uphill through the decades and on Friday we all enjoyed dressing up in our WW2 era costumes – everyone did a fantastic job and looked amazing! To round things off we enjoyed our lunch out in the sunshine and had a fabulous piece of celebratory cake. Its been a great way to finish the term.
We hope you all have a fantastic half term break and look forward to welcoming you back in term 6!
