We have had a successful week two in school showing great attitudes towards our learning in all aspects of the curriculum. As writers, Y5 and Y6 practised their fluent, neat and joined-up handwriting this week; they took pride in their work and were really focussed on doing their absolute best.

Welcome back to Term 5 – we hope you all enjoyed the Easter break! It has been lovely to see all your children back in school and we have started off in a positive manner.   Our enquiry for this term is ‘Have we made the world a better place?’

A busy penultimate week in school for us all as we have carried out end of term assessments as well as continue reading our quality text ‘Roman Quests’. As athletes, Y5 and Y6 have been developing their tennis skills while also making the most of the sunny spells this week.

Thank you to everyone this week who has made an extra effort to ‘ditch’ the car and walk or scooter/cycle more during their journey to school as part of the Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel – it continues next week too so please try to support us in this event.
