Week 3

Year 5/6 settled down to some great learning this week.  The mornings are really settled and the children are fully focused on their maths and English learning.

As historians, we explored replica Stone Age artefacts lent to us by Weston Museum and discussed what we knew for certain and what we could interpret about Stone Age life by looking at them.

As writers, we hotseated someone who pretended to be Barney from Stig of the Dump.  We could ask them questions to help us understand the character better. Next week, we will use our ideas to write a diary entry as Barney.

As scientists, we continued exploring circuits. This week we investigated what happens to a light bulb if you increase the voltage in a circuit.
