Term 1 Week 4

Another busy week in Year 5/6.  We’re well into the swing now and the children have completed some great learning.

The Year 6 children have really stepped up into their roles as council crew leaders and this week hosted their first meeting of the year.  Well done to them all.  Their meetings had lots of highlights as well as a few learns for next time.

As historians and geographers, we have been finding out about the course of the River Nile and its importance to Ancient Egypt.

As artists, we have used Ancient Egyptian images to inspire our drawing of detailed headdresses.

As athletes, our indoor PE has focused on developing ball skills which can be used across a variety of competitive sports.
