Term 2 Week 2

We had a busy week in Year 5/6 and did some great learning.

We started with Remembrance Day and our Year 6 house captains attended the village service by the war memorial where they read out the poem In Flanders Fields.  They were great representatives for the school.

As artist,  the children continue working on silhouette pictures of soldiers.

As historians, we explored religion in ancient Egypt and began to understand just a few of the 2000 gods and goddesses they used to worship.
