Week 6

As we approach the end of Term 2, the 5/6 children have been doing some great learning.  We also had the pleasure of performing to parents and showing off just a little of what we have been learning about ancient Egypt.  Thank you to all the parent who were able to make it on Thursday afternoon – the children really appreciated having an audience.

As citizens we were learning about good reasons and bad reasons for having a girlfriend or boyfriend.  We also sorted statements about behaviour within relationships into ‘okay’ and ‘not okay’.  There was lots of debate and the children expressed their opinions really clearly.

On Friday, the whole school did the ‘Elf Run’ to raise money for Weston Hospice.  Well done to all for their efforts!
