Term 3 Week 2
After our first full week back, the children have squeezed so much in they definitely deserve their weekend!
As citizens, we spent some time exploring prejudice and discrimination. The children understood that prejudice is an attitude whereas discrimination is an action. We explored example of prejudice and discrimination from history and recognised the importance of the UK’s protected characteristics.
As writers, we were preparing for writing a narrative next week by acting out scenes from our writing plan. We will be writing from the point of view of one of the characters in our book Roman Quests: Escape from Rome.
As athletes, we have been developing our ball skills in our indoor Real PE unit which should help us in our outdoor PE unit this term, which is tag rugby.
