Term 3 Week 3
Year 5/6 have had a great week and we’re fully in the swing of term 3. Lots of the children have had successes this week, whether focusing on creating some of their best narrative writing, scoring a personal best in their arithmetic paper or having great discussions with their talk partner.
As scientists, we reviewed our previous week’s learning and discussed electrical charge in atoms. We then explore how some materials dissolve, making a solution, and some materials don’t, making a mixture.

As philosophers, we continued to learn about the pillars of Islam and Orion class enjoyed hearing Ayat read from the Qu’ran.

As historians, we continue to learn about the Roman empire and this week we learned about how such a large and powerful empire finally fell. We have nearly worked through all of the loops on our learning walls!
