Term 4 Week 3

We’ve reached the halfway point of the term and have had a good, hardworking week. The Year 6s have continued to revise all of their topics from the whole of KS2 in English and maths and have coped well with the busyness of the mornings.

As scientist, Unicorn class have been working on their project with Science Creates Outreach (STEM project). This week they were redesigning plastic party toys using eco-friendly alternatives and they are looking forward to their visit to Bristol next week to the Learning Lab.

As mathematicians, we celebrated the CLF Big Day of Maths and joined an online chat with people who use maths in their jobs.  The children got to read profiles of some different people and planned some good questions to help them understand how maths can be used to make things better for humans.
