Term 5 Week 2

This week, we have enjoyed some great weather and the children have thoroughly enjoyed the freedom of playing on the field at break times. As learners, we have been deep in revision mode with the Year 6s during the mornings and they have worked hard.  Then, it is nice for our classes to be back together in the afternoons to enjoy learning about the wider curriculum.

As scientists, we were learning about the heart and the blood.  We felt for our pulse and recorded what happened to our heart beat after exercise.

As citizens, we explored aspects of healthy living and the children acted as agony aunts – giving advice to children in different scenarios.

As philosophers, we explored the concepts of love and eternity. We then looked at various bible passages to see what messages they shared about love.
