Term 6 Week 1
Welcome to Term 6!
At the end of our first week back, the children have already achieved so much.
As writers, we read a wonderful book called, ‘The Golden Cage’ and the children wrote a narrative describing an event in the story, whilst included well characterised dialogue.
As citizens, the Year 6 children attended a session in the hall hosted by a representative of Kooth, an online and phone based service available for 10 – 19 year-old children to provide help to support their mental health.
As performers, the Year 6 children were incredible in their auditions for the performance of ‘Ye Ha’ on 15th and 16th July. We can’t wait to get stuck into rehearsal next week. Children with bigger roles have already received their scripts so they can start familiarising themselves with their role and learn their lines.
