Term Five Week 2

We hope you all enjoyed the long Bank Holiday weekend – we have certainly packed a lot of learning into this four-day week!

Being historians and looking at our enquiry question of ‘How did the Egyptian civilisation evolve?’, Y5 and Y6 explored the chronology of the era and constructed a timeline of the main events during this historical period.

In PE, we built up our stamina in our warm-up relays and created our own team games challenging us sprint, invade and be aware of space on a court.

We love celebrating children’s achievements both in and out of school. Take a look at Lily-Mai here who proudly brought in her medal and explained how she came second place in a gymnastics competition in Portsmouth over the long weekend – congratulations Lily-Mai!
