Term Five Week 2
Even though the weather hasn’t been as sunny as we would have liked this week, we were able to enjoy our cricket taster session on Monday when we enjoyed learning new skills and were taught by a professional cricket coach.
As historians this week, we have been developing our understanding of chronology by identifying when The Ancient Greek Civilisation was at its most powerful and looking at what else was going on in the world at the same time.
We always start off our enquiry lessons by checking to see if we can retrieve knowledge from our previous learning.
During whole-class reading sessions, we read an extract from the novel ‘Holes’ by Louis Sachar.
Using the text, we answered and discussed the following retrieval questions.
