Term Five Week 3

Amidst the wind and the rain this week as we found ourselves now in the month of May, Years 5 and 6 have had a great week in school.

As scientists, we have started learning about the circulatory system in the human body and how it has the function of transporrting oxygen and red blood cells around the body.

Y6 students are busy making the most of their revision time in class before SATs and practising their skimming and scanning skills to ensure, as readers, they are well-equipped for reading any text and showing their comprehension abilities.

On Wednesday, Scott and Simon from Kook Sool Won in Weston-super-Mare, gave KS2 a fantastic demonstration of the skills and discipline needed to be proficient in this for of martial arts.

As readers, we continue to enjoy reading a book every day for pleasure and reading a quality text in class to inspire our English work.
