Term Four Week 2
It has been such a great week in Years 5 and 6: a visit from Megan who is a cyber-protection officer for the police and excitement ahead of reading week from next Monday.
We learnt and discussed how to keep ourselves safe online as well as be aware of age-appropriate gaming and video watching.
Ahead of Reading Week which is from Monday 4th March, we have been enjoying looking at the entries for the ‘Book in a Box’ competition- you have until World Book Day on Thursday 7th March to design and make one!
As citizens this term, we are thinking about how to keep ourselves healthy. Take a look at us doing role-play by acting out advice for children in different dilemmas and scenarios.
As mathematicians, Year 5 children developed their measuring skills in order to be able to calculate the perimeter and area of shapes accurately.
