Term Four Week 5

A busy penultimate week in school for us all as we have carried out end of term assessments as well as continue reading our quality text ‘Roman Quests’.

As athletes, Y5 and Y6 have been developing their tennis skills while also making the most of the sunny spells this week.

As readers, the whole school mixed up their reading partners this week and Y5/Y6 children shared their love of reading with younger children . It was great to see everyone reading out loud focussing on expression.

In English, we finished a piece of descriptive writing based on a chapter from Roman Quests. We made deliberate word choices for effect and tried to include figurative language.
