Term One Week 1

It has been wonderful to welcome our Y5 and Y6 children back into school. They have made a great start to the new academic year and are settling in well with routines and expectations.

We made the most of the weather earlier in the week by taking our learning outdoors.

This week, we have spent time getting to know each other.

We have also been talking about what it is like to be a mathematician and applying those learning attitudes to maths challenges

At the start of the year, it’s always important to remind ourselves of our school values and what they look like and sound like in school: trust, courage, everybody and responsibility.

It has been great developing our artistic skills and using water colours to paint our final drafts of rainforest animals
