Term One Week 2

Week 2 has certainly seeemed to have flown by for Y5 and Y6! We have really enjoyed exploring place value and ordering numbers in a practical way.

During this week, we have enjoyed starting to read our class quality text ‘Wolf Brother’ written by Michele Paver. It is a story set in prehistoric times which will help us devel0 our knowledge of the Stone Age as well as inspire us to read and write. We carried out some role play for parts of the first chapter and then used our comprehension skills to answer questions about we had read.

In class, we have also been reading out loud in pairs to develop our fluency of reading
