During this week, we have continued reading our class quality text ‘Cosmic’ and we are really enjoying seeing how the plot and adventure is being revealed. As part of this, we are beginning to write a persuasive letter from the point of view of Liam – the main character – to try to persuade his friend, Florida, to accompany him on a trip of a lifetime! We worked with our learning partner first to try to persuade Florida verbally before putting our reasons in writing.

In Orion, the children are taking on the role as eco-ambassadors for the school again this year and have been busy creating posters to encourage our school community to save energy and water. They are going to distribute them to all classes to be displayed around the school. They did a fabulous job!
