Term Six Week 2
What beautifully hot summer weather we have enjoyed this week and it hasn’t stopped us working really hard. In English, as readers, we have been developing our comprehension skills by working in groups to produce freeze frames showing our understanding of the characters.
Take a look at the pictures from our Egyptology Day during which the Y5 and Y6s got to be historians alongside an expert, Ali Ball, and explore ancient artefacts finding clues about life 5000 years ago.
We were all incredibly proud of Daisy (Y5) this week when she played the piano to the whole school in singing assembly showing so much courage and musicianship.
Thank you to Off The Record representatives this week who spent time with our Y6 children discussing resilience strategies.
