Term Six Week 3
At last, the sunshine has been out and it has felt a bit more like summer this week which was perfect for our orienteering sessions which we really enjoyed on Tuesday. We had to work together in small groups to locate the photographs which had been placed around the school grounds plus do sporting challenges at each one – including burpees and press-ups!
This week, one of our assemblies saw us welcome Michael and Megan from RNLI who talked with us about keeping safe by the sea. They taught us signs for emergency situations as well provide us with handy tips on how to prevent any accidents while by the water’s edge.
As artists, we mixed pastel colours to create these powerful images inspired by World Environment Day. They show how planet Earth should be and how it could be if people don’t change their living habits now and into the future.
