Term six Week 5

The first week of July and the weather has made it feel like spring and not summer! All the Year 5s and 6s have been continuing to practise hard on our production of Rock Bottom which we are looking forward to performing to you next Tuesday (9th July 6:30pm) and Wednesday (10th July 6:30pm).  They are all real stars!

As authors this week, we have been starting to write our own stories for a younger audience which have a message within them about an environmental issue and which have been inspired by the book ‘Greta and the Giants’.

We are hoping to actually turn them into books by publishing them before the end of term and reading them to our EYFS/Y1 classes.

 

Our KS2 sports day was a real success on Thursday morning with everyone taking part and supporting each other – luckily, rain the held off too!
