Term Three Week 1
Welcome to 2023 and we are so looking forward to welcoming you back into school and embark on the next term of learning.
Straightaway, we have began our next enquiry which is entitled ‘How does our world rage?’. As geographers, we will be finding out about natural disasters (earthquakes, volcanoes and floods) and grappling with the key concepts of survival and prevention.
As mathematicians this week, we have been exploring fractions of shape with a focus on explaining our mathematical thinking using sentence stems.
In guided reading, we have enjoyed an extract from The Island at The End of Everything written by Kiran Millwood Hargreave and have used ‘because’ to give evidence to our opinions.
