The last week of Term 3 has arrived and spring seems to be on its way – we have loved spotting the signs of spring around our school field.

One sign of winter coming to an end was seeing the variety of birds flying in the skies over our school grounds as part of The Big School Birdwatch. Orion eco-ambassadors collected, collated and inputted the results of our birdwatching.

As readers, we have been using the fluency rubric to help us develop our expressions and volume, pace and phrasing when reading out loud.

In outdoor PE sessions, our skills have progressed with invasion games so that we have been able to play hockey in small groups: tackling, dribbling and scoring!
