Term Two Week 1

Welcome back to Term Two and what a wet and windy week it has been! It has been lovely to have Year 5 and Year 6 back in school again and we have settled into school routines well.

A focus for us this week has been to develop our handwriting skills in terms of letter formation, joining up and fluency. Have a look at us concentrating hard on producing high quality work which we can be proud about.

As readers, we paired up this week with children from younger classes to share our love of reading with each other. It was great to have the opportunity to enjoy reading different books with each other and to encourage expression when reading out loud.

During Talk Tuesday this week, we developed our oracy skills while discussing what our favourite season is and why. We used our oracy signals to communicate our ideas and opinions.
