Term Two Week 3
It has been anti-bullying week this week and as part of it, we have been focussing on the importance of kindness in our lives both in and out of school. On Monday, we joined in with a nationwide assembly online which encouraged us to think and discuss the impact of being kind on everyone around us. Following the assembly, we wrote notes to give to others in the class saying something kind about them. It was wonderful to see the smiles in the room as the notes were read.
As athletes this week, Year 5 and Year 6 children have been developing their dancing and movement skills. After warming up, they had to create a short dance sequence which included a starting position and an ending position which were linked by circle moves. These were then performed to the class and positive feedback was given.
As readers, we are really enjoying sharing books every Tuesday afternoon with younger children: it really makes us read with expression and clarity as well as promote a love of reading.
We are so proud of us as designers that here are some more photos of our final Stone Age purses which we have completed.
